15+ Years Experience

"Every mountain we climb tells a story, and every traveler becomes part of our family."

Hello, I’m Aayush Parajuli, the founder and director of Hakuna Matata Trekking. With a Bachelor’s in Mountaineering Studies and years of experience leading treks across Nepal, I have had the privilege of guiding adventurers through some of the world’s most breathtaking landscapes. My personal mountaineering achievements, including summiting Mera Peak (6,476m) and reaching Camp III of Himlung Himal, have deepened my respect for high-altitude environments and reinforced my commitment to safety on every trek.

I founded Hakuna Matata Trekking with the vision of creating “A New Wave of Adventure”—where trekking is more than a journey from point A to B, but a transformational experience that connects you to the heart of the Himalayas. I have spent two years volunteering in Upper Dolpo, which allowed me to truly understand the culture, lifestyle, and resilience of its remote communities. That experience has inspired our dedication to responsible tourism and meaningful cultural engagement on every trek.

Having traveled and guided treks in all major destinations across Nepal, I have gained deep knowledge of both the natural beauty and cultural richness that make these landscapes unique. I strive to bring calm leadership, expert guidance, and a focus on safety to every trek, so that your journey is not only an adventure, but also a life-changing experience.

At Hakuna Matata Trekking, we are committed to authentic adventure, responsible travel, and unforgettable experiences. My passion is to help you explore Nepal safely, connect deeply with its culture and mountains, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

“No worries, just wonders.”
