By booking any trip, trekking package, tour, or service with Hakuna Matata Trek, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.
A booking is confirmed only after receipt of the required advance payment.
Full payment must be completed before the trip start date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We reserve the right to decline any booking without providing a reason.
All prices are quoted in USD (or NPR unless stated otherwise).
Payments can be made via bank transfer, online payment gateway, or cash (where applicable).
Any bank charges or transaction fees must be borne by the client.
Cancellation made 30 days or more before departure: partial refund after deducting administrative costs.
Cancellation made 15–29 days before departure: 50% of the trip cost will be charged.
Cancellation made less than 15 days before departure: no refund.
No refunds will be provided for unused services, early departure, or itinerary changes made by the client.
Trekking and tour itineraries may be adjusted due to weather conditions, health concerns, natural disasters, political situations, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Any additional costs resulting from such changes shall be the responsibility of the client.
We prioritize safety and reserve full authority to modify routes or schedules when required.
Clients must be in good physical and mental health to participate.
You must inform us of any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or dietary requirements at the time of booking.
We reserve the right to deny participation if a client is deemed medically unfit during the trip.
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory.
Insurance must cover trekking activities, emergency evacuation, medical treatment, trip cancellation, and personal loss.
Hakuna Matata Trek is not responsible for any costs incurred due to lack of adequate insurance.
Adventure travel involves inherent risks including altitude sickness, injury, weather changes, and remote conditions.
By joining our trips, clients acknowledge these risks and agree to participate at their own responsibility.
We are not liable for accidents, illness, injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings during the trip.
All clients are expected to respect local culture, customs, guides, porters, and fellow travelers.
Abusive, unsafe, or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the trip without refund.
Decisions made by trip leaders and guides regarding safety are final.
We are not responsible for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, pandemics, or flight cancellations.
Hakuna Matata Trek reserves the right to use photographs or videos taken during trips for promotional purposes.
If you do not wish to appear in such materials, you must inform us in writing before the trip.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Nepal.
Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of Nepali courts.
By confirming your booking and participating in our services, you confirm that you fully accept these Terms & Conditions.
